Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how NaKrio OÜ (Astangu tn 62-49, 13519 Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 12987520, “we”) processes personal data in the Pattern Atlas mobile application (“App”).
Natal Chart Astrology on Google Play
This Policy also covers the app published on Google Play as Natal Chart Astrology (package tech.schackel.soulmap, developer account “Cheapcarrent company”, formerly SoulMap; versions 1.10.x). All sections below apply to it. In addition, that app processes the following data:
- Birth details. The app asks for your date, time, and place of birth to build your natal chart and forecasts. They are stored on your device; we keep no copy. The place of birth is converted to coordinates by your device's geocoding service.
- High-precision ephemeris. To compute planetary positions from the NASA/JPL DE440s data set, the app sends only the moment of birth (date and time in UTC) to our server. No name, city, coordinates, or account identifier is sent with it. If the service is unavailable, the app falls back to an on-device calculation.
- AI guide (optional). If you ask the AI guide a question, the app sends your question together with your birth date, birth time, city, time zone, and the calculated chart to our gateway, which forwards it to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., United States) to generate the answer. This is an international transfer of personal data. Your name, email address, and profile image are not sent. The request is sent with retention disabled and is not used to train models; we do not log the contents of requests. If you never use the AI guide, this data does not leave your device.
- Requests are authenticated and rate-limited per user.
- Deletion. In Natal Chart Astrology, open Profile → Delete account, or use our account deletion page. Deleting the account also erases the birth details stored on the device.
Astrological content is provided for self-reflection and entertainment and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice.
1. Data we process
- Account data. Depending on the sign-in method, Firebase Authentication may process your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, and a Firebase user identifier.
- Your decision content. Decision questions, options, criteria, confidence, experiment hypotheses, actions, success measures, daily ratings, and notes are stored locally on your device. The active Pattern Atlas release does not upload this content to our servers.
- Purchase status. Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments. Our authenticated verification service receives the transaction information needed to validate entitlement. We do not receive payment-card details.
- Technical diagnostics. Release builds use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring. They may process crash traces, app and OS version, device model, installation identifier, memory state, request URL, response code, and timing. Decision content and account email are not intentionally added to diagnostic reports.
2. Purposes and legal bases
Account and entitlement data are processed to provide the service and perform our contract with you. Limited diagnostic data is processed for our legitimate interest in maintaining security, reliability, and performance. We do not use the data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
3. Processors and transfers
Firebase Authentication, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring are provided by Google LLC. Payments are processed by Apple Inc. or Google LLC. These providers process data under their terms, privacy policies, and applicable transfer safeguards.
4. Retention and deletion
Local decision content remains on the device until you delete it, delete your account through the App, clear the App data, or uninstall the App. Account data remains while the account exists. Diagnostic and transaction records are retained only as needed for reliability, legal, tax, fraud-prevention, and purchase-validation obligations.
You can delete the account in Profile → Delete account and evidence or use our account deletion page. Subscription cancellation is handled separately in your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
5. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and may complain to a supervisory authority (in Estonia: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
6. Children, security, and changes
The App is not directed to children under 13. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards but no system is completely secure. We may update this Policy; the current version and date will remain available here.
